In 1991 Damian went to Brazil and came back with 120 albums of brazilian music so he started as a DJ playing at special samba events in the UK.Ê He bought mostly Salsa after that and eventually started playing a mixed set of Salsa/Brazilian music in a pub in Brighton.Ê Eventually he switched to Salsa only and played at 2 Salsa clubs in Brighton.
In 2001 he moved to Thailand and played at La Rueda off and on for 3 years before doing a Friday night residency for the last year.Ê He was described by the owner of La Rueda as "the best (salsa) DJ in the world".Ê With a big following he has now established as the #1 Salsa DJ in Bangkok and at Fogo Vivo he is described by the manager as "our star DJ".
